8th Grade – Globaloria:
3/17/15 – DO NOW: “Encryption” the process of converting data into code.
Speculate about the value (what’s the point?) of encrypting data.
I CAN. . . examine (look at; inspect) designing tools in Flash Pro, and utilize (put to use) them to create (put together) the graphics in my game.
I CAN. . . demonstrate (show; make plain) my understanding of basic tools in Flash Professional and sequence (put in order; put in a series) of code using ActionScript 3.0.
7th Grade: Repeating students work on Kodu
3/17/15 – DO NOW: The definition of “bookmark” is to save the URL of a Web page for easy access in the future.
Copy and paste one of your favorite bookmarks.
I CAN . . . analyze things about myself and complete a Google Form.
I CAN . . . navigate (steer; drive) Google Chrome, examine (look at; inspect) applications & extensions, & add them to my browser.
1. Students will complete the Bingo Mixer. This will be a hard copy that will be passed out.
2. Complete this Google Form: Tell Me About it Survey.
3. Watch the video on Social Networking from BrainPop (login is on the whiteboard) and then play the GAMEUP.
4. After everyone above is done…I will go on with the lesson.
